Bought in 1983 the car was a very shiny black but underneath the original colour was opalescent maroon. Over time the paint faded and cracked and years of previous owners overing over rust with cardboard, filler and aluminium meant my beloved car was beginning to look a little sad. Time to roll up the sleeves...
